Located in North West England, our specialised art storage has been developed to the highest specifications and incorporates up-to-date security, fire alarm, climate control and access standards to meet the stringent security requirements of the UK and International Government Indemnity Scheme.
The building is outside flood zones, has Grade 4 signalling and CCTV monitoring installed throughout and received approval in 2019 from the Arts Council National Security Advisor for suitability to hold collections from UK national institutions and under grant of government indemnity. Our climate-controlled area has an Airdale close control system which is used to maintain an environment of 18 degrees Celcius (+/-1) and a Relative Humidity value of 54% (+/-5%). The vault is a “building-within-a-building” inside the main store and rooms have a minimum of 50mm PIR thermal insulation, smoke/heat detectors and fire extinguishers. The climate store has 312m3 with 32 lineal metres of existing APEX shelving systems, expandable as required.

Storage insurance can be arranged and included within our own policy at extra cost.
